  Stainless steel tee is a kind of pipe fittings used for branch pipe. At present, the manufacturing process of stainless steel tee includes hydraulic expansion and hot pressing. The hydraulic expansion of stainless steel tee is a forming process, in which the branch pipe expands by axial compensation of metal material. In this process, a special hydraulic press is used to inject the liquid into the tube blank with the same diameter as the stainless steel tee, and the tube blank is extruded by synchronous centering movement of two horizontal side cylinders of the hydraulic press. The liquid pressure increases with the decrease of tube volume.

  When the pressure required to expand the stainless steel tee branch pipe is reached, the metal material flows along the mold cavity under the double action of the liquid pressure in the side cylinder and the branch pipe, so that the branch pipe expands. The hydraulic bulge process of stainless steel tee can be formed once, which improves the production efficiency. The shoulder wall thickness of main pipe and stainless steel tee is increased.

  Because the hydraulic expansion process of stainless steel tee needs a lot of equipment, it is mainly used to produce stainless steel tee with standard wall thickness less than dn400.

  Precautions for opening stainless steel tee fittings: extrusion deformation of stainless steel tee fittings belongs to tensile deformation. If ε is large, the neck at the end of the hole will contract and be damaged. Therefore, the main problem of extrusion is to avoid cracks at the end of the hole, and it is the ultimate deformation of one extrusion. This order is mainly limited by the data expansion rate of stainless steel.
